Silverwood 4 - Only Days away

Well me and a few others are trying our hand ata little bit of promotion. We used to have these random houseparties btu the 3rd one was so big and was on so long that we thought, “lets get a venue for the next one” so thats what we have done.

We have hired out the bar round the corner from us for 1 night only. And I’m Djing the 12 - 1am slot winner.

My top 10 Firefox Plug Ins

1. Web Developer toolbar - the daddy of all toolbars
   
2. Firebug
3. Server Spy - Displays the http server of current site
4. Flagfox - Location of Current site’s server
   
5. Show IP - Displays sites IP Address
6. GA? - Checks for Google analytics on a site
7. IE Tab - becasue sometimes you need to see how IE Breaks something
8. Sxipper - rememberes everything
9. Locationbar - makes address bar pretty lol
10. Fission - Safari style progress bar

Cyclists meh!

‘kay so I biked it to work yesterday. Was fun, was hot and tiring too! But I never ran a red light. Makes me wonder if this is the reason why cyclists are hated by so many motor vehicle drivers. At the end of the day if your on the road keep to the rules. I did (by jumping on the kerb to avoid the road at red lights) lol

Summer is here

Well luckily for me it was on my longer than normal weekend. Burnt my arms from 5 mins in the sun. Nice to see that overnight before I got up for work it pissed down, not too bad that really!

Facebook Connect

Looks like Facebook is going for global domination now too. I just watched the F8 Annual Facebook conference. Other than the profile changes there was on other main thing that caught my eye. Facebook Connect it reminds me a little of Microsoft Passport. Facebook, via the developer platform, lets you insert some of its neat FBML code into your site to create a “Facebook connect” button. This will then link the site you are on and your facebook application. The site also gains access to your personal information that is on there too.

Digg showed how Facebook Connect was working on their site. Absolute class dont need a Digg account if you have a Facebook Account plus if your already logged into facebook you don’t even need to tap in any credentials.

Think I am going to go and have a play with Facebook Connect over the weekend.
